Povzetek
Na podlagi rezultatov raziskave PISA se bo avstrijski izobraževalni sistem moral soočiti s številnimi izzivi in optimizirati svoje delovanje, da bo lahko učence pripravil na vključevanje v informacijsko družbo. E-izobraževanje in e-učenje v razredu očitno igra pomembno vlogo pri poučevanju, kako iskati, vrednotiti in uporabiti informacije iz in prek medijev – osnovna veščina, ki je nujna v 21. stoletju v profesionalnem kot tudi privatnem življenju. Prispevek opisuje tri nivoje e-izobraževanja v Avstriji, podaja najnovejše podatke in predstavlja šest strateških ciljev za optimizacijo e-izobraževanja v prihodnosti. Teoretični del opisuje trenutne izzive za izobraževalni sistem in prikazuje pod katerimi pogoji je e-izobraževanje lahko uspešno. Predpogoji za uspešno uvedbo e-učenja so preusmeritev k poučevanju, ki je naravnano k učencu, odgovorna uporaba oblaka kot vira znanja in obenem kot pomoč učiteljem in učencem s pedagoškim gradivom. Kljub dobremu razmerju petih učencev na računalnik in 50 odstotkom uporabe e-učenja, je tukaj predstavljenih šest strategij, ki so bile razvite za izboljšanje kakovosti učenja in poučevanja digitalnih kompetenc.

Abstract
Facing several challenges due to the results of the PISA-survey, Austria‘s educational system has to optimize its output in order to prepare students to integrate themselves in the information society. E-education and e-learning in class obviously plays a major role in teaching how to search, value and apply information from and through new media, a basic skill demanded for the 21st century in both, professional and private life. This paper shows the three levels of e-education in Austria, provides current data and presents six strategic goals to optimize e-education for the future. The theoretical part draws a picture of the current challenges for the educational system and shows under which circumstances e-education can be successful. Shifting to a student-centred approach of teaching, responsibly using the cloud as a source of knowledge and, at the same time, assisting teachers and students with pedagogical material are the preconditions for a successful implementation of e-learning. Despite a great ratio of five students per computer and a 50 per cent use of e-learning, six strategies for enhancing the quality of learning and teaching digital competences have been developed and are presented in this paper.
