podcasting@SIRikt 2011
At SIRikt this year, we have invited some students from nearby Slovenian schools to attend and create a small series of podcasts where they interview some of the key speakers and participants from their (a student) point of view. This was their first time planning, recording and editing and they split into two groups and created their podcasts using portable handheld recorders and editing in Audacity free editing software.
The teams were coached by Dom Graveson, an ex-BBC broadcaster. Their podcasts and summaries are below:

Title: E-learning: from iPad to classroom
Here we are :) 3 students making podcast with some interesting people with interesting presentations: producer Primož, recorder & editor Matic and interviewer Kristina (coming from Secondary school for wood science and technology and Drama High school).
Today we interviewed 3 people :
- the first one was Adrian Blight from Imagine education who was talking about technology and 21st century education
- then we talked to Špela Grum (working at the secondary school for wood science and technology) and she answered a very important question: Is the digital material for foreign language teaching interactive enough?
- and our favourite: Tim Rylands (UK), who presented iPad and iPad's apps

Živjo! Tukaj, v Kranjski Gori smo trije dijaki z Umetniške gimnazije Ljubljana, dramsko-gledališka smer. Snemamo intervjuje s pomočjo podcastov. Producentka je Helena, snemalec je Vid in novinarka Zala.
Danes smo opravili intervjuje s tremi predavatelji:
- z Nives Kreuh, ki je predavala o generaciji 'xyz' in o tem, da se današnja mladina obnaša drugače, preživi več časa s tehnologijo
- z Janjo Černe, ki je predavala o tem, kako k pouku pritegniti učence z izdelovanjem animacij
- in z Matejo Žepič in Matjažem Ovsenekom, ki sta predavala o medijski pismenosti in o tem, kako ljudje razumejo splet.

Us again! This is the last day here and we really had fun. Today we were busier, but still had fun, because we interviewed 4 people:
- Anita Townsend from Canada, who presented leading e-competent schools- implementing digital learning resources
- Janja Polenšek from Primary School Dobje (in Slovenian), who was talking about physical education and technology
- Neža Poljanc from Slovenia (in Slovenian) was talking about free fall with camera
- Tomaž Kušar (in Slovenian) presented 'Netbook - Valuable Teaching Resource'

Danes je petek, 15. 4. 2011. Spet se oglašamo iz Kranjske Gore, kjer smo opravili še 3 intervjuje s SIRikt-ovimi predavateljicami:
- s Slavico Suhovršnik, ki je predavala o poučevanju otrok s posebnimi potrebami
- z Natalijo Podjavoršek, ki je predavala o poučevanju bolnih otrok na daljavo
- in Katjo Arzenšek, ki je predavala o poučevanju priseljenih otrok v Slovenijo.
Vsem predavateljem in udeležencem, ki so sodelovali pri snemanju podcastov, se najlepše zahvaljujemo.
