Egbert Bolhuis has started by working for over ten years in special education and four years in secondary education. More than 12 years ago he made ​​the transition to teacher education and has for the last eight years given his special attention to distance education and the use of ICT in teacher education. His thesis is that the younger generation can deal with ICT, but they have to how to integrate ICT in education. If you don't learn it on the teacher education, where else would you learn this? Only in practice? Partly under his editorial a new book is coming in July, the translation of the title is Wise With ICT in education.

Tina Bregant se je po končani Gimnaziji Bežigrad vpisala na Medicinsko fakulteto v Ljubljani in diplomirala leta 2002. Po diplomi se je vpisala kot mladi raziskovalec na nevropediatrijo in opravila strokovni izpit Ministrstva za zdravje v 2003, v istem letu se je tudi specializirala iz pediatrije. Kot študentka medicine je delala v Romuniji in Avstriji, kot specializantka nevropediatrije in mlada raziskovalka pa v Veliki Britaniji. Leta 2005 se je vpisala na doktorski študij, 2007 se udeležila tečaja družinske terapije in pričela z vodenjem seminarjev Family lab. V svoji doktorski disertaciji piše o Hipoksično-ishemični encefalopatiji.

John Collick is a graduate of Sussex University in England. He lectured in English Language and Literature, and Philosophy for ten years in Japan, working in the prestigious literature faculty of Waseda University in Tokyo, where he designed and implemented the department’s first e-learning system. He also taught English as a foreign language to all ages of students, from children to adults. He now works as a Senior Education Consultant for Promethean, manufacturer of Interactive classroom technology. John is the author of Shakespeare, Cinema and Society (Manchester 1988) and numerous articles on literature, cinema, ICT and learning. His specific interests include, personal learning strategies, neuroscience, ICT and education.

Conor Galvin is a lecturer and researcher at the College of Human Sciences, UCD Dublin where he contributes to various education, ICT and research methods programmes. His teaching interests include active learning at second level and education technology. His research interests centre around schools ICT and the impact of new and emergent technology on learning and society, teachers’ professional knowledge, and innovation transfer in an information society. He holds the President’s Award for Teaching Excellence at UCD Dublin and is currently lead education evaluator of the Diageo Liberties Learning Initiative, Ireland and a member of the team leading the National Pilot Project on Teacher Induction (Secondary). He has worked on eTwinning since the early stages of the project.

Dominic Graveson has been in the digital/creative leadership/consulting business since 1996. His focus is on customer/user engagement and experience, leaning towards measurement and research as an informer for improvement and direction. He is social media strategist and commentator based in UK who shares some of the experiences developing a best practice framework for schools in Slovenia and takes an inclusive, practical approach to answering the big questions facing educators and managers around the issues of accountability, focus, policy and training teachers to use these exciting and constantly evolving tools. He has covered social media digital marketing and brand-building campaigns, outreach and widening participation for UK and EU Universities, corporate executive development programmes, social marketing and learning consulting, development of communities of practice, OER, e-commerce development and broadcast/entertainment format development and support. He works across internet, interactive TV, mobile and internal intranet platforms.

Sue is a specialist in writing for the web. Based in Cambridge, UK, runs a business offering copywriting, web content and social media to small businesses and household names including the BBC, ITV, Yahoo, AOL and Toshiba. She has also worked closely with the education sector, notably Cambridge Enterprise, leading examinations body OCR and the Department for Education.

Neil McLean worked after graduating in Engineering from Cambridge University as a teacher, local authority advisor, and senior leader in a number of UK government education agencies, where he developed the original IT Curriculum. As Executive Director at Becta, the UK government’s technology agency, he led over 30 research projects. He developed a set of online tools used by over 18 000 schools, training programmes for 10 000 school leaders, and the business case for the UK government’s 300 million euro home access programme. He led the programme, providing computers, connectivity and support to 250 000 low income families. He recently worked in the private sector and provided consultancy on educational to a number of global companies. He now leads the Futurelab Research Centre at NFER, developing creative and innovative approaches to education to equip young people them with the essential skills and attitudes for life, learning and work in the 21st Century. He directs the centre’s research programme which includes a number of EU and industry-sponsored projects.

Bill Mitchell has spent over twenty years researching into the mathematical foundations of computer science and software engineering in both industry and academia. During that time he’s been a researcher at Motorola’s European Software Research Labs and also at the Universities of Manchester, Surrey and Southampton. He is now Director of the BCS Academy of Computing, which is the Learned Society arm of BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT. Bill was also a member of the Royal Society’s Advisory Group for their study into Computing education in school, which was published in January.

Rok je v zadnji dve leti vodja izobraževanja zaposlenih na področju Centralne in Srednje Evrope korporacije Microsoft. V podjetju je zaposlen 13 let. Pred tem je  štiri leta skrbel za poslovanje podjetja kot tudi za marketing in organizacijo ter procese znotraj podjetja. Pred tem je vodil prodajo OEM in še prej poslovanje za področje razvoja in aplikativnih rešitev ter deloval kot pred prodajni inženir. Po poklicu diplomirani inženir elektrotehnike je pred 15 leti začel svojo poklicno pot kot sistemski analitik v slovenskem podjetju MAOP. Njegove izkušnje torej segajo od proizvodnje, razvoja, prodaje, marketinga do vodenja podjetja, ljudi in timov.

Ranko Rajović is founder of Mensa Serbia, Mensa Bosnia and Hercegovina, Mensa Montenegro and Mensa Slovenia. He is a member of the International Board of Directors of Mensa International and Gifted Children Committee of Mensa International (Chairman 2010 - 2012) and author of NTC learning system, early detection and stimulation of gifted children, which is based on neuroscience. His program is being applied in 14 European countries. He was a visiting lecturer at the Universities in four European countries (SI, BA, ME, RS) and is a medical practitioner specialist in internal medicine, neuro- endocrinology at University of Novi Sad, Medical Faculty, Institute for Internal Medicine. He is also an associate on the UNICEF educational project in BA, and has applied NTC program in eight BA towns.

Andrej Tomšič je leta 2001 zaključil študij na Ekonomski fakulteti v Ljubljani z diplomskim delom Informacijske ceste - infrastruktura digitalne ekonomije, strategije in pristopi. V letu 2002 se je zaposlil na Ministrstvu za informacijsko družbo, kjer je kot član eEUROPE+ 2003 Statistical Working Group deloval predvsem na področju metrike informacijske družbe in bil član različnih teles DG INFSO pri Evropski komisiji. Leta 2006 je magistriral iz informacijsko upravljavskih ved prav tako na Ekonomski fakulteti v Ljubljani. Od maja 2006 je zaposlen pri Informacijskem pooblaščencu in se ukvarja predvsem s pravnimi, tehnološkimi in družbeno-ekonomskimi izzivi zasebnosti v informacijski družbi.
