Povzetek
Glavna ideja sodelovalnega projekta med dijaki dveh srednjih šol – na Nizozemskem in v Sloveniji: “To sem jaz” je vzpodbujati in podpirati dijake pri uporabi interneta in e-učnega okolja s cilji: naučiti se kreativnega in inovativnega izražanja ter predstavljanja v tujem (angleškem) jeziku in se ob tem naučiti tudi varne in odgovorne rabe interneta, v smislu zasebnosti in upravljanja z osebnimi informacijami.
Sodelovalno delo se je začelo s skupnim delom učiteljev angleščine v Sloveniji in na Nizozemskem. Pripravljen je bil podroben načrt učnega sklopa, ki bo uporaben tudi za učitelje ostalih tujih jezikov. Delo se je nadaljevalo v razredih, kjer so dijaki izvajali naloge in komunikacijo v tujem (angleškem) jeziku in pri tem preizkušali različna IKT-orodja po lastni izbiri. Pri takem sodelovalnem delu se dijaki niso samo učili tujega jezika in komuniciranja na daljavo, temveč so istočasno postajali bolj kompetentni na področju varne rabe internet. Projekt želimo še nadgraditi, saj bi se lahko naši dijaki s takšnim načinom dela dodatno urili v spretnostih pisanja in govorjenja.

Abstract
The main idea behind this collaborative project between pupils from two secondary schools – from Netherlands and from Slovenia: “That’s me” is to encourage and support our students to use the Internet and the ICT- learning environment in order to learn to express themselves in a creative and innovative way in foreign language and in the same time also to learn how to present themselves on internet in a safe and responsible way by learning about privacy and managing personal information.
Collaborative work was first done by teachers in Slovenia and Netherlands, in order to produce a detailed lesson plan based on thorough research, so that it can be reused by other foreign language teachers. Later on one class of students in Slovenia and another in Netherlands worked on their assignment and communication in foreign language by trying out different ICT tools, which they were free to pick up. While working together pupils not only learn foreign language and communication at a distance, but also simultaneously work on their competence as a safe internet user. Finally, we hope to develop and bring this project to another level. It could be of a great learning importance to our pupils to add another aspect to it: for example other writing or speaking elements.
