Povzetek
Zaradi vse hitrejšega razvoja informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije (IKT) se soočamo s številnimi spremembami, in sicer na področju dela in izobraževanja. IKT predstavlja pomembno dopolnilo izobraževalnega procesa, ki ga zaradi svoje dinamičnosti in nazornosti popestri in olajša, rezultat pa je kakovostnejše znanje. Širok spekter možnosti se odpira tudi na področju izobraževanja otrok s čustvenimi in vedenjskimi motnjami, saj jim uporaba IKT omogoča aktivno sodelovanje v učnem procesu in večjo socialno vključenost. Učenci s tovrstnimi težavami so zaradi motečih oblik vedenja v šoli pogosto slabo sprejeti med vrstniki in učitelji. Koncept pomoči mora temeljiti na odkrivanju in krepitvi učenčevih virov in močnih področij. Mnogi izmed njih so izrazito uspešni na področju poznavanja in uporabe IKT, kar strokovne delavce spodbuja k vključevanju IKT v največji možni meri v delo z njimi. Na ta način jim zagotavljamo občutek varnosti, sprejetosti in uspešnosti ter tako omogočimo njihov optimalni razvoj.

Abstract
There are many changes in the field of education and work because of the more and more rapid development of informational-communicational technology. ICT presents an important complement of educational process, that diversifies and facilitates it because of the dynamics and demonstrativeness. The result is more quality knowledge. In the field of educating pupils with special needs ICT offers wide spectrum of possibilities that enables them to be actively involved in the educational process and this is the way how they become more socially included. The children with behavioural and emotional problems are also in this group because they are not accepted by their classmates and teachers because of their disruptive behaviour. The concept of helping pupils with such problems has to be based on the detection and strengthening the sources of their power. The knowledge and the use of ICT is strong field for many of them. That fact enables the professionals to include it into work with these students. This is the way to help them to feel safe, accepted and successful and these feelings are important for their optimal development.
