Povzetek
Medpredmetne in kurikularne povezave, timsko poučevanje ter ustvarjalna in smiselna uporaba tehnologije so gotovo zelo pomembni elementi razvoja sodobne šole. Tega se na Gimnaziji Ravne na Koroškem dobro zavedamo, zato uvajamo spremembe in novosti.
V prispevku je predstavljen medpredmetno zasnovan izbirni predmet naravoslovje, ki ga na Gimnaziji Ravne na Koroškem ponujamo dijakom drugega letnika kot alternativo družboslovju in tretjemu tujemu jeziku. Predmet je umeščen v gimnazijski predmetnik in sicer kot dvourni izbirni predmet v drugem letniku, s čimer se dijakom ne poveča tedenski obseg ur. Prispevek opisuje naravoslovje kot primer novega učnega okolja za celostni razvoj naravoslovno-matematičnih kompetenc in smiselno rabo IKT z organizacijske in izvedbene plati, cilje, ki jih pri predmetu dosegamo, in odzive dijakov ter vključenih učiteljev. Podrobneje je predstavljena medpredmetna povezava med fiziko in matematiko in uporaba Vernierjeve programske opreme. Uporaba sodobne informacijske tehnologije postavi dijaka v aktivno vlogo, hkrati pa mu omogoča uvid v povezanost naravoslovnih predmetov in vpogled v uporabnost naravoslovja v vsakdanjem življenju.
Refleksija dijakov je pokazala zadovoljstvo in visoko motivacijo za medpredmetne povezave in uporabo IKT. Na Gimnaziji Ravne na Koroškem bomo tako zasnovani izbirni predmet naravoslovje ponudili dijakom tudi v naslednjih šolskih letih.

Abstract
Cross curricular and curricular connections, team teaching and creative and reasonable use of technology are definitely very important factors of the modern school development. At Grammar School Ravne we are highly aware of that and therefore we warmly welcome numerous changes and novelties.
Sciences is an elective subject which is designed as a cross curricular subject and is offered to the second- grade students as an alternative to Social Studies and the third elective foreign language. At our schoool the subject is placed (set) into the grammar school curriculum as a two- period elective subject in the second grade and consequently the students do not have more lessons per week.The article describes Sciences as an example of a new educational environment for the holistic development of science and mathematical competences. We describe organisation and implementation sides and the aims we achieve and also teachers' and students' responses. Cross curricular connection between Physics and Maths and the use of Vernier software is introduced into more detail.The use of modern information technology puts a student into a more active role and at the same time it enables an insight into the connection of science subjects and as well as an insight into the use of science in everyday life.
Students' reflection has shown satisfaction and a great deal of students' motivation for cross curricular connections and the use of ICT. We are definitely going to offer that elective subject to our students in the future as well.
