Povzetek
V prispevku bom predstavila uporabo spletne aplikacije Voicethread pri pouku angleškega jezika. Poglavitni cilj uporabe te aplikacije je izboljšanje jezikovnih zmožnosti, ki jih učenci ponavadi najtežje usvojijo – govor in pisanje. Izdelek, ki nastane s pomočjo aplikacije Voicethread, spodbuja sodelovalno učenje, saj učenci v manjših ali večjih skupina oblikujejo izdelek in ga urejajo, bodisi skupaj pred računalnikom ali vsak zase pri delu na daljavo. V izdelku predstavijo izbrano temo in jo nato podkrepijo s slikami, videoposnetki, avdio in tekstovnimi komentarji, kar spodbuja učenje vseh štirih jezikovnih zmožnosti – govora, branja, pisanja in poslušanja. Učenci Voicethread radi uporabljajo in ustvarjajo svoje digitalne zgodbe, saj jih sodobna tehnologija motivira in spodbuja njihovo radovednost ter motivacijo za učenje tujega jezika.

Abstract
This paper presents the usage of web 2.0 application Voicethread in an English classroom. The main aim of using this application is to enhance those language skills that are usually the most difficult for pupils to master, namely, speaking and writing. The project that is made using Voicethread supports cooperative learning since pupils design and make comments about the media either in small or big groups. They work on the project together using one computer or using their individual computers at home. The project features a story through audio, images, videos or text. Voicethread allows pupils to make comments on their stories in different ways using voice or text, which facilitates the learning of all four language skills - speaking, reading, writing and listening. My pupils like using Voicethread to create their digital stories. Modern technology used in our classroom motivates them and encourages their inquisitve minds.
