Povzetek
Posledice sodobne civilizacije in globalizacije so v današnjo družbo prinesle številne težave in bolezni, ki kar kličejo k ukrepanju. Sodobna informacijska tehnologija je s pozitivnimi prinesla tudi negativne posledice, ki se odražajo predvsem v zdravstvenem stanju posameznikov. Gibanje zato predstavlja življenjsko nujo in je osnova za zdravo življenje. Športna vzgoja pa je predmet, ki je usmerjen k gibalni aktivnosti otrok in mladostnikov. Primerna uporaba informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije in vključevanje le-te v učni proces nam lahko pomaga pri večji zainteresiranosti in motiviranosti otrok ter mladostnikov za redno športno udejstvovanje ter s tem morebitno preprečevanje posledic sodobne civilizacije.
Zaradi prave poplave telefonov z operacijskim sistemom Android tudi na slovenskem trgu smo si na OŠ Podgorje ob vsej tehnologiji, ki jo imamo na razpolago in jo s pridom uporabljamo, zastavili nalogo, da pri pouku izbirnega predmeta šport za sprostitev preizkusimo eno izmed številnih brezplačnih aplikacij RunKeeper, ki jih lahko namestimo, s čimer spremenimo in izboljšamo telefon ter mu dodamo dodatne možnosti in s tem dodano vrednost pouku športne vzgoje.
V prispevku bomo opisali, kako se je uporaba pametnega telefona z aplikacijo RunKeeper obnesla kot didaktični pripomoček. Predstavili bomo prednosti in slabosti uporabe te tehnologije pri pouku športne vzgoje.
O mobilnih telefonih kot učnih ali delovnih pripomočkih se je govorilo že na Siriktu (Dežela, 2011), kjer je omenjeno vzpostavljanje povezave z uporabo kodnega sistema, mobilnega telefona in lastnega centralnega informacijskega sistema. Mi pa smo se te problematike lotili nekoliko drugače.

Abstract
Effects of modern civilisation and globalisation have incorporated a variety of problems and illnesses in today’s society and they need to be dealt with. Modern information technology has brought besides positive also negative effects, which are reflecting mostly in individual’s health state. That is the reason why physical exercise is almost a life’s necessity and a basis for a healthy life. Physical education is a subject, directed mostly towards sports activities of children and adolescents. An appropriate use of information – communicative technology and its integration into teaching processes can help increase interest and motivation of children and adolescents for a consistent physical exercise and with that a possible prevention of effects of modern civilisation.
Due to the massive overflow of phones with an Android operating system together with all available technology in Slovenia, our team at Primary school Podgorje has decided to try out one of many free applications called the RunKeeper. It can add value to lessons of Physical education. In the article I have described how the use of a smartphone with a RunKeeper application has resulted as a didactic accessory. Also advantages and disadvantages of using this activity in class are presented.
The use of mobile phones as a teaching or working accessories have already been mentioned on SIRIKT 2011, where establishing a connection with a use of a code system, mobile phone and a personal central system is limited. We have addressed this problem in a different way.
