Povzetek
V okviru študijskih obiskov in hospitacij pri pouku v nizozemskih in slovenskih šolah smo opazovali tudi uporabo e-učbenikov pri pouku različnih predmetov. Po pogovoru z dijaki in učitelji smo lahko ugotovili, da poteka učenje s pomočjo digitalnega učnega gradiva pogosto v kombinaciji s klasičnimi šolskimi učbeniki. Ker je na tržišču vedno več učbenikov tudi v digitalni obliki in postaja njihovo uvajanje predvsem s pojavom t. i. „netbook razredov“, kjer ima vsak dijak pri pouku tudi svoj prenosni računalnik, vedno bolj realno, si je treba vprašati, kaj pomeni takšna sprememba za dijake oz. katere vrste učbenik bi izbrali dijaki sami.
Pri načrtovanju raziskave o uporabi e-učbenika v primerjavi s klasičnim šolskim učbenikom v papiranati obliki, smo poskušali ugotoviti dejavnike, ki vplivajo na odločitev dijakov, da raje uporabljajo papiranato ali digitalno obliko učbenika. Pri tem je bilo v izhodišču raziskave opredeljeno, da imajo dijaki v določenem obdobju šolskega procesa možnost, da se sami odločjo, ali bodo pri pouku uporabljali učbenik v papirnati ali digitalni obliki.

Abstract
The study visits and class observations in the Dutch and Slovenian schools showed, among others, various uses of e-textbooks for teaching different subjects. After talking to pupils and teachers, we observed that learning is still performed by means of digital teaching materials in combination with traditional school textbooks. As more and more textbooks are available on the market also in the digital form and they are getting used with the introduction of the so-called „netbook classroms“ – where every pupil has their own laptop - we have to ask ourselves what such a change would mean for the pupils and which type (paper or electronic) would be chosen by them.
When planning a survey on the use of e-textbooks in comparison to the classical school textbooks in paper-form, we attempted to identify those factors that would influence the decision of pupils to use either a paper or digital textbook. At the starting point of the research, we therefore determined that in the specific period of the learning process, the pupils are free to decide by themselves whether they would prefer a paper or digital textbook.
