SPLETNI KVIZI KOT SPODBUDA K BRANJU STROKOVNE LITERATURE NA RAZREDNI STOPNJI
Online quizzes as an incentive for reading the non-fiction literature at the primary level

Povzetek
Učenci na razredni stopnji berejo v glavnem leposlovje, predvsem prozna besedila. S spletnimi kvizi, izdelanimi s programom Hot Potatoes, sem četrtošolce in petošolce z naše šole spodbudil k branju strokovne literature s področja ekologije. V zbirki Zelena knjižnica je šest knjig, ki na strokoven, vendar otrokom še vedno razumljiv, način predstavijo ekološke vsebine. Knjige so slikovno bogato opremljene, kar je še dodatna prednost.
Kvizi so na učence delovali kot odlična motivacija in spodbuda k branju, saj so jih na računalniku izpolnjevali doma. V šoli so svoje znanje le še pokazali in na ta način osvojili eko bralno značko. Za dodatno motivacijo sem pripravil še ekološko lestvico, po kateri so se z vsako predstavljeno knjigo povzpeli višje in na koncu postali eko kralji/-ce.
Namen prispevka je predstaviti projekt ostalim učiteljem, saj ga lahko vključijo v program in k branju strokovne literature spodbudijo tudi svoje učence. Ekološko osveščanje je pri tem še dodana vrednost.

Abstract
Students at the primary level mainly read fiction literature, mostly prose. Using webpage quizzes made by a program Hot Potatoes, I encouraged the fourth and fifth graders to read the literature about ecology. The collection Green Library comprises of six books, which represent ecology to children in an unprofessional yet understandable way. Books are richly illustrated which is an additional advantage.
Quizzes turned out to be an excellent motivation and encouragement towards reading, since children used computers to solve the quizzes at home. At school they only showed their knowledge and won the encouragement badge. For additional motivation, I prepared the ecological pyramid. Each time the student represented a book he/she climbed higher on a pyramid and ultimately became an eco-king/queen.
The purpose of this paper is to represent the project to other teachers, so they can include it into their program and encourage their students to read non-fiction literature. Ecological awareness in return, is the added value.
