Abstract
The use of ICT's for physically handicapped children is especially important, because their specifics and particularities require a number of adjustments that help them improve their movements, learning processes and motivation. In many cases, the use of modern ICT enables the adjustments needed. Thus we introduced QR codes, which are now famous worldwide, to our students in the hours of a prolonged staying. Students learned all about QR codes; the preparation and working processes, they went through the course on reading with smart phones, and even learned how to make the study tasks by them self. Thus they became familiar with the advantages and disadvantages of the work with QR codes. Some study tasks that based on the development of autonomy were prepared by the teacher and, others were prepared by the students. We observed increased motivation of students to learn with the use of ICTs because of the different, interesting approach, where they don’t know what is hidden behind the black-and-white squares. We also tried the X-Mind software witch we decided to use in the future to help us improve the revision of the study material.
