Povzetek
S terminom poučevanje vrstnikov opredelimo proces, ko vlogo učitelja prevzame učenec – vrstnik učečega in enakovreden udeleženec v običajnem procesu izobraževanja.

Abstract
The term peer teaching defines the process when a student (a peer learner and equal participant in the normal educational process) takes the role of a teacher. Such teaching has a positive impact on all parties involved. In this paper, the theoretical foundations of teaching peers are presented, which has many followers in literature and in practice. A case of practical experiment carried out is presented in which the students passed their knowledge of informatics to their classmates with the help of ICT tools in their spare time. The paper describes in detail the course of the experiment, the problems that were encountered and how we solved them. Following a successful experiment, where both students achieved the goals, all the participants expressed their views and experiences. Peer teachers were satisfied with the achieved goals and the fact that, despite the fact they had to put a lot of effort into that their peers managed to learn particular topic. However, they acknowledged that they thought teaching was easier. Peer learners found this type of teaching more relaxing and efficient. Based on the positive experience it is very likely that we will use this method instead of traditional teaching again.
