What can a physics teacher find on the SIO portal for his work?

Povzetek

Splet je postal nepregleden vir preobremenjen z informacijami. Ključnega pomena je postalo filtriranje in zbiranje informacij, kar je v slovenskem izobraževalnem sistemu tudi eden od namenov portala SIO. V prispevku opisujem, kako sem ta vidik portala ovrednotil skozi pogled učitelja fizike. Tako najprej opredelim potrebe učitelja fizike in poskušam najti spletni vir na portalu SIO, ki vsebuje ustrezno vsebino glede na določeno potrebo. V primeru da ustrezne vsebine na portalu SIO ne najdem, jo poiščem drugje na spletu. Spletne vire nato ovrednotim po nekaj vsebinskih in oblikovnih kriterijih, po katerih med drugim ocenjujem njihovo verodostojnost, namen, privlačnost, razumljivost, preglednost itd. Na koncu podam še predlog, kako bi te informacije in vsebine na portalu SIO združili.

Abstract

Internet has become a source overloaded with information. Filtering and information gathering are crucial today and this is one of the purposes of the SIO portal in the Slovenian education system. In this paper I describe how I evaluate this aspect through the eyes of a physics teacher. I first define a typical physics teacher needs in the classroom and try to find an online resource on the SIO portal which contains relevant content according to the specific need of a physics teacher. In case I don't find an online resource with relevant content on the portal I look for it elsewhere on the web. I evaluate those online resources with certain content and design criteria, among which their credibility, purpose, attractiveness, clarity, transparency etc. Finally I explore the most appropriate ways to merge all the information and content on the SIO portal.
