Povzetek
Prispevek ob teoretskih osnovah predstavlja uporabo tabličnega računalnika kot glasbenega inštrumenta.
Nastal je z namenom alternativnih, izvirnih in tehnoloških zmožnosti, katere tablični računalnik, poleg že znane uporabne širine, lahko ponuja v šolskem prostoru.
V prispevku se ob opredeljeni strojni in programski opremi ponuja celosten pregled nad sestavinami, ki so potrebne, da tablični računalnik uporabimo kot učinkovito glasbilo. Prvotno se strojna in programska oprema nanašata konkretno na tablični računalnik Apple iPad, s platformo IOS, predstavljenih pa je tudi nekaj možnosti za ustvarjanje glasbe na tabličnih računalnikih z operacijskim sistemom Android.
Obravnavanje s strani IKT, ob kritični presoji prednosti in slabosti, postavlja glavne ugotovitve skozi primer dobre prakse, preko odziva učencev ob prvem stiku z glasbilom v obliki tabličnega računalnika, ki je, za tako uporabo, zelo močno motivacijsko sredstvo.
Predstavljena so tudi praktična izhodišča, kot vizija in nadaljnje možnosti.

Abstract
The following article presents the usage of a Tablet PC as a musical instrument as well as some theoretical bases.
Its purpose is to focus on the possible alternative, inventive and technological abilities of a Tablet PC in addition to what it can already offer to a school environment.
Besides the software and hardware aspects, the article also focuses on an overall view of applications, necessary for a Tablet PC to work as a musical instrument. The listed software and hardware specifications primarily refer to the Apple’s iPad Tablet PC with IOS, however there are some possibilities of creating music on the Android based tablets as well.
From the Information-communication Technology point of view, following the critical judgement of pros and cons, we presents the main findings based on the responses of the students at their first interaction with an instrument in a form of a Tablet PC which is a huge motivation tool.
Ultimately, the article also focuses on the practical bases for further opportunities and visions for the future.
