Povzetek
Pouk tujega jezika (v našem primeru angleščine) lahko zelo obogatimo s sodelovanjem v mrežnih projektih iEARN.
Projekt My Name je eden izmed mednarodnih mrežnih projektov organizacije iEARN, ki spodbujajo pismenost in medkulturno sporazumevanje.
Ime je ena od osnovnih informacij o posamezniku. V projektu nas zanima, kako so imena v posameznih jezikih sestavljena, koliko jih je, kaj pomenijo, od kod izvirajo, kako bi se glasila v drugih jezikih. Raziskujemo tudi, kako se v sodobnem svetu posameznik razen z osebnim imenom še lahko identificira.
Namen plakata je motivacija dijakov za tujejezični projekt, ki poteka na daljavo s pomočjo sodobne informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije in dopolnjuje redni pouk angleščine.
Abstract
Foreign language lessons (in our case English lessons) can be made much more interesting by participating in iEARN web-based projects.
The project My Name is just one of many international web-based projects of the iEARN organisation which encourages literacy and intercultural communication.
Names give basic information about single persons. In this project we are interested in what parts names have, how many names we have, what their meaning is, where they come from, what their foreign languages counterparts are. We also try to investigate other possible ways of personal identification in the contemporary world.
The aim of the poster is motivating students to participate in this foreign language project which is carried out over a distance using the information and communication technology and adding value to regular English classes.
