Uspešna raba novih medijev in spletnih vsebin v izobraževanju zahteva ustrezne pogoje podpore in učinkovito e-učno ogrodje.

Abstract
FutureLearning is the new e-learning and e-government initiative of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, the Arts and Culture. This initiative started last year and deals with new forms of learning and learning arrangements, which move away from classical and frontal education situations. By using non directive learning arrangement it should be possible to gain results from group, partner, or single works. These results are then structured to build a new learning environment.
Additional successful use of new media and web-based content in education requires adequate support conditions and an efficient e-learning framework. The aim of the content initiative is, according to the masterplan of FutureLearning, to offer commercial and freely accessible e-learning content. With the Austrian Bildungspool, based on a standardized and open source metadata repository, is realized a “one-stop shop” platform for all available regional, national and European-wide electronic learning assets and resources. A standardized and “easy to use” authoring tool for teachers is the starting point for a qualitative content development and building of pedagogical content sequences.
