Povzetek
Uporaba informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologij (v nadaljevanju IKT) pri pouku zahteva nove oblike in metode dela in oblikuje nov profil tako učitelja kot učenca.
Učitelj ni več glavni vir informacij, v ospredje stopi učenec, učitelj pa ga zgolj usmerja in mu posreduje iztočnice za delo, kar je tudi vodilo predstavljenega primera učne ure. Projekt je izdelan s spletnim orodjem WebQuest in vključuje sodelovalno učenje v razredu ter medkulturno povezovanje z učenci v Italiji in Argentini. Realizacija projekta predvideva virtualna srečanja v spletni učilnici, ki omogoča izmenjavo informacij med učenci iz omenjenih držav. Izbrana tematika je sociokulturne narave, poglavitna cilja pa sta poznavanje različnih vrst testenin, ki so najpomembnejši italijanski živilski izdelek, in medkulturna izmenjava informacij. Delo je zasnovano kot raziskovalna naloga. Poročilo oziroma končni izdelek vseh delovnih skupin nam posreduje popolno sliko o zgodovini, proizvodnji in porabi testenin v Italiji, o raznovrstnih tipih in oblikah testenin, o tipičnih receptih, primerljivosti prehranjevalnih navad v prej omenjenih državah in o vlogi testenin kot živilskem izdelku v italijanski kulturi in tradiciji.
Naloge, pripravljene s programskim orodjem Hot Potatoes, so namenjene sprotnemu preverjanju in razumevanju učnih vsebin.
Ob zaključku si učitelj pridobi še mnenje učencev o izpeljani obliki učenja in o njeni učinkovitosti.
Abstract
Teachers who would not like to be able to, at least from time to time, say what is on their mind and what bothers them about schoolwork, probably do not exist. Partly, this can be done in the school staffroom or in conversation with a colleague, but never completely.
Teachers cope with the fast changes in the school system and with the growing demands on them in different ways, the consequences being teachers in distress and having a sense of failure, resulting in more and more stress and teacher burnout syndrome. Nobody wants to be considered unable to solve his/her own problems, connected with his/her work. Teachers find it particularly difficult to admit that they do not know how to do something, so they (too) frequently try to find the answers on their own instead of trying to solve their problems with a little help from their colleagues. School staffrooms are no longer the place to solve their problems on a personal level as they used to be.
Nowadays, more than ever, teachers need a place where they can get all the support for our personal pedagogical needs and where they can try to solve problems, caused by their profession. In order to do this, they truly need to cooperate with people who understand them and their needs, that is, other teachers! And since school staffrooms do not serve this purpose any more, it is high time to modernize the staffrooms as well.
