Povzetek V prispevku predstavljamo kratko revizijo dela projekta E-um. Z vidika rezultatov in odmevov na dosežke projekta E-um smo se ozrli na organizacijske principe, vsebinsko- strokovna izhodišča, načela uporabe tehnike in didaktična načela, ki smo jih postavili na začetku izvajanja projekta in jih med procesom dela nenehno dopolnjevali. V letu dni je nastal eden najobsežnejših in najcelovitejših portalov za učenje matematike tako v osnovni kot v srednji šoli. E-um portal je široko poznan in uporabljen portal, ki obsega preko 1100 gradiv iz matematike za osnovno šolo in gimnazijo. Po vsebini gradiva pokrivajo skoraj vso vertikalo osnovne šole in gimnazije. Ob pogledu nazaj ugotavljamo, da so bila naša izhodišča v obliki razmeroma konzervativnih načel, usmerjenih v vsebino in poglabljanje razumevanja, pravilna. Načela preudarne uporabe tehnologije, kjer je vsebina postavljena pred obliko in privlačnost, so se po naših ugotovitvah izkazala za pravilna. Čeprav je do odličnosti portala E-um še zanimiva in nedokončana pot, je portal postal prepoznaven slovenski učni pripomoček. Prav to spoznanje je najboljše zagotovilo in hkrati izziv za ustvarjalce, da portal E-um ne bo zamrl, temveč se bo v nadaljevanju oblikovno in vsebinsko bogatil in širil.
Abstract Our contribution presents a short revision of the work in the E-um project. Considering the results and users’ feedback of the E-um project we comment about original working strategy, content and professional principles, the usage of technology and teaching philosophy set at the beginning and changed during the process. There is no doubt that the E-um portal is one of the most comprehensive e-learning devices for the teaching of mathematics. E-um portal with its over 1100 math e-learning units for primary and secondary schools is widely known and used. Considering the content the E-um portal covers almost all the syllabus of primary and secondary school mathematics. Looking back, we can conclude that our initial, rather conservative principles, which emphasized the content and understanding, were correct. The principles of considerate use of technology where the content precedes the form and attractiveness, by our opinion turned out to be not only right, but also necessary. Even if a lot is yet to be done for the E-um portal to become a flawless learning institution, E-um became a well known and respected Slovenian math learning aid. That is the best guarantee for its continuous productive evolution and a challenge for further improvements regarding its design and content.
