SIRikt 2011 International Conference

Conference registration has officially ended.
The International Conference Enabling Education and Research with ICT – SIRikt 2011 is a prominent event on the incorporation of ICT in education. It brings together childcare workers, childcare assistants, teachers, laboratory assistants, headmasters, information specialists, computer experts, higher education teachers, librarians, pupils, high-school students, university students and other ICT users.
The Conference features six events:
- The videoconference day represents the largest Slovenian videoconference, where pupils and high-school students present their projects (Tuesday, 12 April 2011).
- ARNES 2011 Conference - WHAT DOES CLOUD COMPUTING HOLD IN STORE? - brings together users in the areas of education, research and culture. The conference is aimed at a broad range of delegates, covering both user and systems aspects of the use of new technologies. (Wednesday, 13 April 2011, Kranjska Gora).
- “Heading towards e-competent school” conference is divided into two different events:
- Managing e-competent school / kindergarten – for all headmasters who strive for better and higher quality level of computerised schools (Thursday, 14 April 2011).
- Didactic approaches of e-competent teachers / childcare workers – for childcare workers and teachers at all levels of education (Thursday, 14 April and Friday, 15 April 2011).
- KONFeT or eTwinning event brings together teachers who incorporate ICT and international cooperation into their lessons (Thursday, 14 April 2011).
- Training collaborators in the e-šolstvo project (Saturday, 16 April 2011).
During the conference Sirikt 2011 we will also introduce EcoMedia project.
SIRikt offers pedagogical staff, pupils, and high-school students who apply modern tools of digital age at their work an opportunity to exchange their experiences.
