Povzetek

Novost Arnesovih multimedijskih storitev v letu 2009 je vpeljava sistema za podporo spletnim videokonferencam (webconferencing). Zaradi enostavnosti uporabe in nižjih zahtev  po računalniški strojni opremi se predvideva (tudi na podlagi izkušenj drugih NREN), da bo uporaba novih spletnih videokonferenc že v prvem letu bistveno presegla klasične videokonference.

Abstract

In 2009 we offered a new service to our users – Web Videoconferencing – aimed at users who do not have powerful videoconferencing equipment (all that is required is a simple Web cam). It is also suitable for those who need simplicity without the need to install extra software, with the emphasis on collaborative work on documents and less need for audio and video.
