Earth rotation and revolution - The comparison of classical and interactive geography lessons

Povzetek
V članku sem primerjala potek klasične učne ure z učno uro v multimedijski učilnici. Ugotavljala sem prednosti in slabosti tako ene kot druge oblike dela ter opisala metode, ki sem jih uporabila pri doseganju zastavljenih ciljev. Za primerjavo sem izbrala posamezne faze učnega procesa. Na enem mestu sem zbrala e-gradiva o gibanju Zemlje, dodala pa sem tudi nekatera nova, ki so rezultat mojega dela z učenci. Predstavila sem izdelke učencev (PowerPoint) in delavnico o gibanju Zemlje (MovieMaker). Prikazala sem uporabo programa Hot potatoes, ki omogoča utrjevanje in preverjanje znanja v multimedijski učilnici. Njegova prednost je v tem, da učenci dobijo sprotno povratno informacijo o pravilnosti odgovorov, svoje znanje pa lahko v takšni obliki utrjujejo tudi doma.
Abstract
The paper compares classic Geography lessons with lessons in a multimedia classroom. The advantages and disadvantages of such lessons and methods have been determined, and the separate stages of the teaching/learning process have been described. I have chosen suitable e-materials relating to Earth Revolution and Rotation on the Internet and I have also added my own interactive exercises that are the result of work with pupils. The paper presents pupils’ projects (PowerPoint presentation) and a workshop about Earth Revolution and Rotation (moviemaker). In the multimedia classroom, I have also presented the use of Hot potatoes to revise or assess pupils’ knowledge. The program itself offers immediate feedback, and pupils can also use it at home. |
