Industrija igre raste zelo hitro: 64 odstotkov flamskih mladih igra igre, zato večkrat izrazijo željo, da bi učitelji vključevali in uporabili igre tudi pri poučevanju. Kljub temu pa je kvaliteta znanja, pridobljena na ta način, zelo nejasna. Kot problem se kaže predvsem učiteljevo nepopolno poznavanje iger in didaktičnih možnostih izobraževalnih iger. Igre je v tradicionalni izobraževalni praksi mogoče vključevati kot gradivo ali vaje. Mogoča je tudi uporaba iger kot zagon za inovacijo v izobraževalnem procesu. Resne in izobraževalne igre ponujajo študentom veliko prednosti v učnem procesu.
Abstract
The gaming industry is growing rapidly. 64% of Flemish young people play games. Students ask teachers to integrate and use games in their teaching practice. What can be learned through play is not so clear. The problem is that teachers do not have sufficient knowledge of games or of the didactical possibilities of educational games. Games can be integrated into traditional education practice as learning materials or as exercises. Games can also be used as a engine of innovation in education. Serious games and educational games offer students many benefits in their learning process. |
