Povzetek

Ena večjih zablod o mehatroniki je predstava, po kateri naj bi mehatroniki nadomestili informatike, elektrotehnike in strojnike skupaj. Velika škoda nastaja zaradi nejasnih predstav o delu mehatronikov, zato so v tem prispevku vključeni opisi poklicnega področja dela mehatronikov na razumljivejši način. Podane so razlike in povezave do sorodnih strok, kot so informatika, avtomatizacija, strojništvo, elektrotehnika. Mehatronski sistemi so podani tudi shematsko in na konkretnem posebnem didaktičnem sistemu, ki samodejno generira ekranske slike nevidnih mehatronskih procesov v treh tipičnih globinah.

Abstract

One of the biggest misconceptions about mechatronics is the idea that mechatronical engineers can replace all information, electrical and mechanical engineers. Major problems are caused by unclear perceptions of the profession. The aim of this paper is to provide a clearer explanation of the mechatronics field. The relations with similar professions, such as informatics, automation, and mechanical and electrical engineering are described. Mechatronic systems are described schematically. A didactic system which generates electronic pictures of non-visible mechatronic processes at three typical depths is presented.
