Predstavitev

Povzetek
V Vrtcu Rogaška Slatina se zavedamo, da živimo v času, ko nove tehnologije vedno bolj prodirajo na vsa področja vzgoje in izobraževanja, s tem pa tudi v vrtcu postaja računalnik del življenja otrok in odraslih.

S programom Logo smo se srečali že pred desetimi leti. Primerno izobražene in usposobljene vzgojiteljice so program Logo z otroki najprej izvajale v obliki interesnih dejavnosti za starejše predšolske otroke. Ker smo opazili, da je zanimanje otrok in njihovih staršev za izvajanje tega programa velik, smo iskali še drugačne možnosti. Tako se nam je porodila ideja za ureditev računalniških sob in kotičkov, s katerimi smo opremili vse igralnice 5- in 6-letnikov ter računalništvo ponudili kot obogatitveni program vrtca. Z uvedbo devetletke in vse več heterogenih oddelkov v vrtcu se je v zadnjem času starostna meja otrok, ki se v našem vrtcu srečajo z računalnikom, pomaknila navzdol. Sama že vrsto let delam v heterogenem oddelku z otroki, starimi od 3 do 5 let, in izkušnje so pokazale, da je program Logo lahko zelo zanimiv tudi za mlajše predšolske otroke.

Ob načrtovanju in uresničevanju globalnih in operativnih ciljev, ki jih navaja kurikulum za vrtce, ob načrtovanju tematskih sklopov in izvajanju načrtovanih dejavnosti rada posegam tudi po didaktičnih igrah, ki jih ponuja program Logo. Tako sem v okviru teme Otrok in promet v zbirki didaktičnih iger poiskala igre za usvajanje ciljev na področju prometa. Otrokom sem ponudila dve igri iz zbirke Z Želvico spoznavam promet, s katerima so otroci utrjevali že usvojena spoznanja ter usvajali nova znanja.

Abstract
In kindergarten Rogaška Slatina, we are fully aware we live in time when new technologies prevail in all areas of education, and that computers are an important part of the life of children and adults in kindergartens too.

We were introduced to the program Logo ten years ago. Fully trained and educated tutors carried out that program as an activity for older pre-school children. We noticed a great children and their parents' interest and for that reason we looked for other possibilities. Afterwards the idea to arrange computer rooms and small nooks occurred, and after some time we equipped all playrooms for 5 and 6 year-old children with computers and also offered computer science as an enrichment program of our kindergarten. With the introduction of nine year primary school in Slovenia, more and more sections in our kindergarten are heterogeneous, and the age of children that use computers has recently lowered. I have been working for several years in such a heterogenous section, with children aged 3-5 and I have experienced that the program Logo can be very interesting for younger children as well.

When planning and carrying out global and operative goals that are stated in Kindergarten curriculum and when planning themes and carrying out planned activities, I really love to use didactic games offered by Logo. In the range of theme The child and traffic I searched for the games for assimilating goals in the area of traffic. I offered two games to children from the collection Z želvico spoznavam promet and with those games children drilled already gained knowledge and were also introduced to the new ones.
