Povzetek
V zadnjih letih smo priča silovitemu razvoju na področju digitalne fotografije. Številni proizvajalci ponujajo najrazličnejše modele digitalnih fotoaparatov. Ravno tako so na voljo tudi različni računalniški programi, ki omogočajo razmeroma enostavno nadaljnjo obdelavo fotografij. Starejše generacije ljudi pa se vseeno, večkrat zaradi nepoznavanja sodobne informacijske tehnologije, ne odločajo za uporabo digitalnega fotoaparata. Primerno izobraževanje, prilagojeno starejšim odraslim osebam (usmerjeno na rokovanje s fotoaparatom, računalniško obdelavo fotografij …) jim vsekakor lahko približa vsaj osnovne možnosti digitalne fotografije in jih usposobi za samostojno ukvarjanje s tem področjem.

Abstract
Recently we witness a great development on the field of digital photography. Numerous producers are offering different models of digital cameras. Different computer programmes, which enable relatively simple treatment of the photos, are also available. Anyhow, usually eldery people, because of not knowing the contemporary informational technology enough, don't decide on using the digital camera. So, the educational programme should be set up according to the eldery people's needs (focused on handling with the camera, image editing, ...) and it should give them elementary knowledge of the digital photography. At the end of the programme they should be able to use the digital camera independently.
