UPORABA SPLETNE UČILNICE (ZA KEMIJO) V ŠOLSKI PRAKSI

USAGE OF THE VIRTUAL CLASSROOM ( FOR CHEMISTRY) AT SCHOOL PRACTICE

Povzetek
Razvoj družbe v smeri informatizacije nedvomno zahteva korenite spremembe na področju šolstva. Le-te je predvidela že kurikularna prenova slovenskega šolstva, saj je med trende poučevanja naravoslovja poleg praktičnega dela in sodelovalnega učenja vključila tudi uporabo IKT.

Možnost za vključevanje e-učenja v vzgojno-izobraževalni proces je z boljšo opremljenostjo šol z IKT bistveno večja. Eno izmed oblik e-učenja predstavlja spletna učilnica, v katero se lahko učenci vključujejo bodisi istočasno v okviru rednega pouka bodisi vanjo vstopajo kjerkoli in kadarkoli (pogoj je seveda internetni dostop). Spletna učilnica, postavljena v virtualnem učnem okolju Moodle, omogoča objavo različnih gradiv in virov, ki jih učenci lahko pregledujejo, hkrati pa nudi številna orodja (naloge, kvize, teste, forume …), s katerimi se lahko aktivno udejstvujejo v učilnici in sodelujejo z drugimi sošolci in z učiteljem. Z različnimi dejavnostmi, ki niso nujno vezane na redni pouk, lahko motiviramo tudi učence, ki sicer niso preveč zainteresirani za obvezne učne vsebine. Učitelju omogoča zelo dober pregled nad opravljenimi dejavnostmi posameznega učenca in nad rezultati njegovega dela.

Učilnica, ki jo z učenci uporabljam od pričetka šolskega leta, se je v praksi izkazala kot izvrstno okolje za drugačen način osvajanja, utrjevanja in preverjanje znanja, saj je zelo dobro motivacijsko sredstvo za doseganje aktivnega znanja učencev.

Abstract
Undoubtedly the development of the society in the direction of the informatisation demands radical changes of the school sphere. These changes were predicted by the

curricular modernization of the Slovenian education system, which has included among the tendencies of teaching Science, also the use of the Information-Communication Technologies (ICT), beside practical work and cooperative learning. The possibility of including e-learning into the education system has become bigger, due to better equipped schools with the Information-Communication Technology. One of the forms of e-learning is also a virtual classroom. Pupils can either enter during the lessons or whenever and wherever they want (access to the Internet is the only condition). The virtual classroom, which is placed in the virtual learning environment Moodle, gives an opportunity to publish different materials and sources. Pupils can use them and at the same time it offers a great deal of instruments (exercises, quizzes, tests, forums …). All these activities help pupils to cooperate actively with a teacher and other pupils in the virtual classroom. Pupils can be motivated (even those who usually have many difficulties during regular lessons) by different activities, which are not necessarily connected to regular lessons. Moodle enables teachers to have a very good overview of the activities of each pupil and their results.

The virtual classroom which has been used since the beginning of this school year has proved successful usage, an excellent environment for another way of knowledge adoption, consolidation and knowledge checking. It's a very good method for motivating pupils and achieving ative pupil's knowledge.
