How to Email a Resume? If you need a job, you will have an answer to your question in this post. Read the following.
Updated March 12, 2020
Do you need to email a resume to apply for a job? If so, you might find yourself confused about the best way to do it. Should you send your cover letter and resume as attachments, or include both in the body of the email?
First things first: always follow the employer’s instructions on how to submit your job materials. The job posting should give you detailed information on how you are expected to apply. You may be asked to upload your resume online or to email your resume. If it's to be sent by email, you may be advised what format you should use for your resume, what to include in the subject line of the email, and by when the employer needs to receive it.
For example, the employer may request that you upload or email your document(s) in a.PDF format or a.DOC format (Microsoft Word version of your resume and cover letter, if a cover letter is required). When you email the documents, they are typically added to the message as an attachment.
Make sure you follow the employer’s instructions carefully, or your application may not even be considered.
1. Emailing a Resume to an Employer
Follow the directions. Again, the first rule of thumb when emailing a resume is to do exactly what the job listing states. If the listing asks you to send your resume in a particular format, or asks you to save your resume under a specific name, be sure to do so. Employers are less likely to consider job applications that do not follow submission instructions exactly.
Send it as an attachment. Keep in mind that some employers do not accept attachments. In such cases, paste your resume into your email message as plain text. However, when there are no instructions, the easiest way to send your resume is as an attachment. That will preserve your resume content and format. Your cover letter can either be attached as well, or written in the body of an email message.
Choose a resume file format. Be sure to read the job listing carefully for any directions on what format the employer would prefer for your resume. If there are no directions, submit the resume as either a Microsoft Word document (.DOC or .DOCX) or as a PDF document. These are the formats most commonly preferred by employers.Source : How to Email a Resume

There are United Kingdom Curriculum Vitae (CV) Examples. This post will help you solve the problem. Read the following.

In other regions of the world, employers often require job candidates to submit CVs; however, international CVs are quite different from U.S. CVs. In the U.S., CVs are used in specific industries, such as academia, scientific research fields, and the medical profession. They are often longer than traditional resumes—beginning at two to three pages for entry-level candidates—and are meant to emphasize one’s academic and professional background and credentials.
CVs in other countries are more similar to U.S. resumes than they are to U.S. CVs. With a few exceptions, they tend to be more competency-based than credentials-based. What distinguishes them from the career search documents used in the U.S. is that they often require personal information that would be illegal for U.S. employers to ask for due to anti-discrimination and other EEOC employment laws.
When you’re applying for an international job, you’ll need to know the expected CV format and content required, which can vary widely, depending on the nation you’re targeting. A CV written for a job in the United Kingdom will be slightly different than one written for another country, like Germany or Portugal.
1. Tips for Writing a CV for a Job in the United Kingdom
Include personal information: Like any resume or CV, include your name, address, phone number, and email address at the top. While some countries require you to include other personal information, such as your marital status or age, this is not required in the UK. You also do not need to include a photo of yourself unless this is specifically requested by an employer.
Include a personal profile: After you’ve provided your contact information, begin your CV with a one-paragraph professional profile summarizing your career goals and the skills you can offer an employer.Source : United Kingdom Curriculum Vitae (CV) Example

1. Meaning of the name "Maya"
Maya's name is the name of a Jewish, Spanish, Greek girl meaning "country". It can also be spelled Maia, though both names have so many possible origins and meanings that not all of them are related.
For the Romans, Maia / Maya was the reincarnation of the earth mother and the goddess of spring, after which they named for May. Maya, which has an exotic, almost mystical image, has been steadily climbing in popularity.
Famed author Maya Angelou was born Marguerite; Maya was coined by her brother saying "mya sister." Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke's daughter is Maya Ray; British designer Phoebe Philo also has a Maya, named for Angelou. Its most famous bearers today include performer Maya Rudolph and architect Maya Lin.Source : Maya name meaning
There are Personal Value Proposition Statement Letter Examples. This post will help you solve the problem. Read the following.
Updated March 14, 2020
In the business world, a value proposition is a summary of why a consumer should buy a company’s product. It's more or less the same in a job search, except instead of a product, you're promoting your skills as a worker. A value proposition is a summary of why an employer should hire a job seeker.
A value proposition letter is a brief statement written by a job seeker to a recruiter or hiring manager. The statement concisely explains what makes the job seeker a unique job candidate, including skills, strengths, and accomplishments, and how he or she will add value to a company.
A job seeker can use their value proposition throughout the job search. For example, it can be used as a resume summary statement, or to answer particular interview questions about the qualities of the job seeker, such as “tell me about yourself” and “how are you different from the competition?”
Writing and sending out a value proposition letter to prospective employers is a great way to demonstrate what makes you a unique candidate and how you can add value to a company.
1. The Difference Between a Cover Letter and a Value Proposition Letter
A cover letter typically highlights what you have done in previous positions, whereas a value proposition letter explains what you will do if you are hired for the current position. Thus, a cover letter often focuses on the past, and a value proposition letter focuses on the present and future.
Cover letters and value proposition letters also differ in length. A cover letter is typically three-to-five paragraphs long (about one typed page), whereas a value proposition letter is much shorter—usually no more than 150 words.
Both documents can be useful in the job search process, but it is important to know when to use which document.Source : Personal Value Proposition Statement Letter Examples
You are interested in Information Technology (IT). You want to offer a job. This post will help you make a resume for an IT job. Read the following.
Updated March 12, 2020
For anyone job searching, writing a resume can be an extremely challenging task, but for information technology (IT) professionals, it can be especially difficult. The highly technical industry is constantly evolving, and resumes need to be continually updated.
1. Understand Attention Span
Across all fields, job listings often get hundreds or even thousands of submissions. Due to volume, hiring managers often just skim resumes. If your resume is just a block of text, your application will likely be discarded without the manager ever reading it.
To avoid this, you need to break up your resume into categories, such as education, work history, and skills. You should also create bulleted lists to neatly summarize key information. Lists and categories make resumes more visually appealing and easy to read.

How to Include Volunteer Work on Your Resume? This post will answer your question. Read this following.
Updated March 11, 2020
You might wonder if it's acceptable to put volunteer work on your resume when you're applying for jobs. It certainly can be, especially in certain situations. There's a certain way to add volunteering and list it appropriately to maximize its value and relevance. Read on to learn how to include this valuable experience on your resume.
Volunteer work can be an excellent way to showcase key skills such as event planning, fundraising, or problem-solving and should certainly be integrated with your other paid work experiences.
1. How to Include Volunteering on Your Resume
Including volunteer work on your resume is an especially important tactic if:
- You are a recent college graduate with limited professional experience;
- If you have taken a significant amount of time away from the workplace to raise young children or to care for a sick family member; or
- You have experienced a lengthy period of unemployment due to a depressed economy in your state or region.
The goal is to incorporate your volunteer experience into your resume to gain the maximum benefit. The way to accomplish this will depend, to some degree, on how related your volunteer experience is to your career target.
What is an Appreciation Letter? To know more about the Appreciation letter, how to use and write them, read this following.
Updated November 18, 2019
There are many reasons to show appreciation for someone during your job search. You might want to say “thank you” to a former boss for a letter of reference, thank a client for a job referral, thank a networking contact for an informational interview, or thank a potential employer for an in-person interview.
You might also want to show appreciation for something unrelated to your job search. For example, you might wish to demonstrate appreciation for an employee who has made a contribution to a team, a boss who has provided you with guidance, or a supervisor who recommended you for a promotion.
Perhaps you'd like to thank a colleague or client for an introduction or a referral. Sending someone an appreciation letter is a great way to show thanks and to maintain strong relationships with people in your network.
1. Why Send an Appreciation Letter
In an age of text messaging and “instant communications,” writing thank-you notes and business letters is becoming a lost art. Yet formal letter writing is still a very valuable skill and one that is appreciated by both business and personal recipients alike. Saying “thank you” is also a way to forge or grow a relationship with a professional connection. This can help your career in the future, as well as on a short-term basis. Thus, if you take the time to write a sincere letter that is well-expressed, grammatical, and free of spelling errors, you will stand out favorably in comparison to peers who lack this ability.
Below are tips on how to write appreciation letters, as well as a list of appreciation letter samples to use as templates for a variety of personal and professional circumstances where you would like to show your appreciation.
