There are three styles of closures on self-sealing envelopes. The Flip-N-Stick, also called the simple seal, is the most popular #10 self-seal envelope and comes with or without a window. The #10 envelope, as it is known, is used to mail letters, invoices, bank statements, resumes, etc.

You seal the envelope by raising both flaps, and then closing the upper flap down over the lower flap. Latex Seal envelopes have adhesive on the envelope and the flap so when pressed together, they seal. The Peel-N-Seal® is the third option. They come with the flap open and you simply peel away the material covering the adhesive. Then you close the envelope.
